OTC Industrial Technologies in Columbus, OH is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to build industrial control panels and electrical systems. You will progress from basic assembly to advanced panel building, testing, and controls work, with on‑the‑job training and mentorship.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cut, strip, label, and organize electrical wire using production specifications.
• Prepare materials and components for assembly projects.
• Install DIN rail, wire duct, back panels, terminals, relays, breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
• Mount devices according to engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Assist with material staging and shop organization.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Route and terminate wiring within industrial control panels.
• Perform point‑to‑point wiring and electrical terminations.
• Assemble control panels, junction boxes, and related electrical equipment.
• Verify wiring accuracy and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Support panel inspections and testing activities.
