OTC Industrial Technologies in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Electrical Technician to assemble and wire control panels and electrical components. You will gain hands-on experience wiring equipment, learn from experienced teammates, and contribute to quality solutions powering customer operations.

You will read drawings and schematics, use hand tools safely, and develop skills toward greater independence in a collaborative environment. High school diploma required; electrical tech training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or coursework in electrical technology preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and electrical drawings with guidance.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn electrical assembly processes.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and smaller components according to drawings and work instructions.
• Assist with building crates and preparing panels for shipment.
• Label panels and equipment per engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret point-to-point drawings and develop schematic interpretation skills.
• Safely operate hand tools and measuring devices to ensure accurate assembly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following company policies.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians and grow toward greater independence.
