Job summary

Coperion in Whitewater, WI is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our on-site team. You will diagnose, repair, and assemble electrical panels and wire harnesses to meet drawings, specifications, and schedules.

This role supports safe operations and lean manufacturing in a structured environment, with 1st shift hours from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mon–Thu and 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Fridays.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in electronics or equivalent hands-on experience, typically 2–4 years in electronic assembly.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Working knowledge of electrical measurement devices and test equipment.
• Ability to assemble, wire, and inspect panels and cable assemblies with accuracy.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and production systems.
• Reliable, responsible work style with safety awareness.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild electronic products and components to meet requirements.
• Build, wire, and inspect electrical panels and cable assemblies.
• Perform skilled fitting by mounting chassis, panels, parts, and subassemblies.
• Inspect, organize, and test circuits and equipment.
• Use measurement devices to validate electrical performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Support lean manufacturing by maintaining a safe, organized 5S area.
• Follow ISO 9001 standards and procedures to ensure consistent results.
