Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is hiring for a rewinding technician to repair and rewind AC and DC motors, inspect equipment, and document results. You will handle dismantling, winding, testing, and validating performance to ensure reliability across critical infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a strong customer focus, with extensive training and development opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience rewinding AC and DC electric motors.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate machinery and hoists safely.

Responsibilities

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable electromechanical equipment, including media blasting.
• Inspect equipment for winding damage and electrical malfunctions.
• Document data on electromagnetic characteristics and operating conditions.
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for damage.
• Wind and test rewound equipment.
• Test rewound equipment according to standards and document results.
