Job summary

Peddinghaus Corporation in Bradley, Illinois is hiring an Electrical/Mechanical Technician (Automated Machine Startup) to ensure newly built machines for the structural steel industry run reliably before shipment.

Candidates should have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, robotics experience, and the ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics as well as mechanical prints; travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience required.
• Robotics experience or related schooling is a plus.
• Industrial maintenance background is desirable.
• Willingness to travel is required.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

We have a current opening for an Electrical / Mechanical Technician (Automated Machine Startup). The job requires ensuring newly built automated machines for the structural steel industry function properly prior to shipment. We are looking for a Robotic Tech with strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting experience.

Required skills

• Electrical systems (AC/DC circuits, motors & controls)
• Hydraulics & pneumatics
• PLC's, servo systems
• The ability to read: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and mechanical prints
• Five plus years' experience required
• Robotics experience, pertinent schooling, and an industrial maintenance type degree a plus
• Some travel will be required
