Title: Electrical Mechanical Technician

Location: North Tonawanda, NY

Training on 1st shift, then move to 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm to 7am)

As an Electrical Technician, you will support the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must be able to conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. You should be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles to diagnose equipment malfunctions and restore functionality across all manufacturing areas.

Primary duties include:

1. Installing, starting up, and shutting down equipment following safety procedures and OSHA requirements;
2. Informing management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical issues and hazards;
3. Maintaining performance and maintenance records for equipment;
4. Performing preventative maintenance as directed;
5. Assisting with technical troubleshooting;
6. Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Electrical license
• Experience in electrical maintenance in industrial or manufacturing settings
• Military training and/or technical school
• Computer skills and PLC programming experience
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime
• Ability to maintain equipment, follow instructions, and perform assigned duties
• Knowledge of electrical components and diagnostic instruments
