American Power Innovations in Tulsa, OK seeks an Electrical/Mechanical Quality Engineer to oversee QA for our product lines. You will ensure electrical and mechanical systems meet design, safety, and performance standards through inspection, testing, process control, and continuous improvement.

You will read electrical and mechanical drawings, apply quality tools (8D, CAPA), and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to integrate quality into design and production.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in quality engineering or similar role.
• ASQ CQE, ISO 9001 lead auditor, or equivalent credentials preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Quality system implementation and maintenance for electrical/mechanical products.
• Perform inspections, functional tests, and durability trials.
• Identify defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ASME, IEC standards and customer specs.
• Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives and Kaizen events.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to embed quality.
• Maintain quality records and audit/compliance documentation.
