Job summary

WMFHA is seeking a experienced Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift to maintain, repair, and improve industrial equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and production efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, schematics, and a proven track record in a demanding industrial setting. 5+ years preferred, with a strong focus on safety and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance technician role.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and ability to read schematics.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and electronics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• High safety awareness and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical problems in company systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and facilities running smoothly.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance with production to minimize interruptions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
• Document maintenance and repair activities in records.
• Evaluate systems and recommend improvements.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance during service periods.
