Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment in our warehouses. The role ensures safety, reliability, and efficiency of all facilities equipment while adhering to company policies.

The position requires hands-on maintenance experience, the ability to read blueprints, and coordination with production teams to minimize downtime. A strong focus on safety and ongoing preventive maintenance is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ months maintenance and repair experience or related area.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot/repair trailers, restraint devices, dock ramps, and doors.
• Read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions using blueprints and repair manuals.
• Collaborate with production to solve issues and improve efficiency.
• Monitor equipment operation to locate faults and reduce downtime.
• Investigate electrical/mechanical failures and plan actions to eliminate repeats.
• Initiate purchase orders for parts using CMMS and document labor hours.
• Weld and perform basic metalworking and move equipment per blueprints.
