Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance background preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years in an industrial maintenance role.
• Knowledge of 110-, 220- and 480-volt electrical systems.
• Experience maintaining mechanical drives, chain drives and conveyor systems.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
• Must be able to read and comprehend prints, schematics and other documents.
• Experience in basic machine alignment using precision instruments.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and gear boxes.
• Must adhere to safety policies; willingness to complete Confined Space training.
• Hazmat certification is a plus.
• Must pass internal maintenance test.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate response to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Complete preventative and corrective maintenance on meat processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with facility equipment.
• Perform minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician (replacing light bulbs, fuses, breakers, etc.).
• Perform other duties as needed or required.
