Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Building Maintenance Mechanic to support warehouse operations. The role focuses on maintaining all equipment and facilities, performing repairs, and ensuring safety and efficiency in daily tasks.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, basic electrical/plumbing work, carpentry, painting, and daily safety checks. A High School Diploma or GED plus maintenance experience is required, with background checks and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 6+ months maintenance and repair or related area.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies facilities and grounds.
• Performs housekeeping duties and keeps maintenance area orderly.
• May perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
• May assist with carpentry, painting, landscaping, and deep cleaning tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine building inspections.
