Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for the Week Day Shift to keep automated conveyors and high‑speed packaging equipment running. This hands‑on, full‑time role covers troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across our production lines.

You will work with PLCs, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensors, reading schematics and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
• Experience with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution tech is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose issues with sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panels.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor belts and automated handling equipment.
• Work with PLCs, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensors.
• Install, wire, and maintain electrical components like relays, motors, and panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep operations running.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with accuracy.
• Install conduit and supports for system upgrades.
