Job summary
Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA, is seeking experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for a full-time role at our 103 Kindig Lane facility. You will support automated conveyor systems and high-speed packaging equipment, focusing on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. Shift: Monday to Thursday 5:55 PM–5:55 AM.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
- Experience with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution technology.
- Diagnose issues with sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panels.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights up to 30 feet.
- Experience in food manufacturing or packaging is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair advanced conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment.
- Work with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation.
- Install, wire, and maintain electrical components like relays, motors, and panels.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep systems running smoothly.
- Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with accuracy.
- Install conduit, EMT, and Sealtite to support upgrades and expansions.
