Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC is hiring Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for our Hanover, PA facility. This full-time role covers troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated packaging lines and conveyors. Shift: Monday to Thursday 6:00AM-6:00PM.

Sign-on and retention bonuses are offered to attract top talent. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing conveyor systems, PLCs, motor controls, drives, and sensors, as well as wiring panels and updating sagas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
• Experience with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution technology.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing advanced conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment.
• Working with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation.
• Installing, wiring, and maintaining electrical components like relays, motors, and panels.
• Performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep systems running smoothly.
• Reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with accuracy.
• Installing conduit, EMT, and sealtite to support system upgrades and expansions.
