Job summary

A global packaging leader in Hazleton is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Technician to ensure safety and quality in producing high-quality packaging. This role entails troubleshooting, maintenance, and collaboration with production teams. Candidates should have a high school diploma, relevant technical certifications, and experience in an industrial setting. The position offers competitive hourly pay with additional night shift premiums, as well as a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.

  • Install, modify, and maintain motors, drives, PLCs, and related equipment.

Schedule


  • Shift: 2-2-3: 12‑hour shifts, nights, 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

What you'll do:


  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on electrical and control systems

  • Install, modify, and maintain motors, drives, PLCs, and related equipment

  • Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime

  • Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, and operational standards

  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively

  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records

  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities for equipment reliability and efficiency



What We Want From You: Lead the Pack


Preferred qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical/electronics preferred

  • 3+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting

  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and maintenance systems

  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work safely with high‑voltage systems and equipment

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced environment
