Job summary

Amcor Specialty Cartons Americas LLC in Reidsville, NC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in our packaging facilities. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration with a cross-functional team.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs and drives, manage spare parts, and support continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; education in electrical technology preferred.
• 5+ years' experience related to repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems required.
• Extensive electrical knowledge ranging from 110 to 480 volts of power (3 phase).
• Strong background using precision tools (micrometers, multi meters, indicators, voltage testers).
• Experience with electrical components, sensors, AC/DC drives and motors, and servo drives and motors.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics/blueprints.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controls (PLCs); PLC programming knowledge a plus.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, and/or kneel frequently.

• Observes all Company procedures, policies, and guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned
