Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, OH is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on extrusion lines. You will read schematics, work with PLCs, and perform preventive maintenance.

You must have a high school diploma, at least 3 years in manufacturing maintenance, experience with 480V three-phase systems, and basic CMMS proficiency. The role emphasizes safety, independent work, and teamwork.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience troubleshooting 480V three-phase electrical systems.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics and manuals.
Experience with motors, motor controls, relays and sensors.
Experience using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, megohmmeters, non-contact testers).
Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical systems up to 480V three-phase.
Troubleshoot electrical failures involving motors, drives, control panels, contactors, relays, heaters, sensors, and instrumentation.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical components and wiring.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, HMIs, VFDs, and automated systems.
Perform electrical testing with meters and diagnostic tools.
Follow safety procedures including NFPA 70E.
