We seek a detail-oriented Designer/Drafter to translate engineering concepts into accurate, production-ready drawings using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Inventor. This on-site role collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure design intent and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in electrical or mechanical drafting, engineering technology, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2+ years of electrical drafting or CAD experience in manufacturing, industrial, transportation, mining, or power-electronics environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, including part modeling, assemblies, and drawing creation.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams, cable and wire schedules, panel layouts, and Bills of Materials using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Create and revise detailed 2D mechanical drawings and 3D solid models using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Prepare drawings from sketches, markups, specifications, field data, and engineering direction with proper dimensions, tolerances, materials, and finishes.
• Ensure drawings reflect design intent and comply with drafting standards; check for completeness and manufacturability.
