Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose hazards, enforce regulations, and read construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new and existing electrical and mechanical installations in various buildings for conformance with safety regulations and codes.
• Interpret municipal, national, and international codes.
• Coordinate with contractors and property owners to resolve issues.
• Issue final inspections and registrations as required.
• Research and respond to information on codes, ordinances, and regulations.
• Report violations and enforce compliance.
• Work outdoors primarily, with occasional office tasks.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance.
