Boon Edam Inc. in Lillington, NC is seeking an Assembly Tech to perform a variety of mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, troubleshoot, and prepare products for shipping.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, some assembly experience, strong English communication, and the ability to lift 30 lbs with overtime as needed. We offer full-time employment with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree is a plus.
• Some experience in complex electrical and mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Strong communication in English and organization skills are essential.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Windows systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex electrical and mechanical systems per detailed drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Set up and test assemblies; troubleshoot problems as needed.
• Maintain quality inspections and document test results.
• Coordinate with team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Prepare products for delivery, including packaging and crating as required.
• Maintain equipment safety and housekeeping in the work area.
