Job summary

Carolinas Staffing in Leland, NC is seeking Assembly Technicians to perform a series of operations using hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to assemble and test various devices. Shifts include 2nd Shift: Mon-Thu 4:00pm–2:30am and a Weekend Shift: Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:00pm with paid lunch.

Candidates must pass a background check and drug test, read and understand English procedures, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to lift 50 lb and wear PPE as

Job Summary:

Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test various devices.

Shifts:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am (30-minute lunch)
• Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 12 hours per day, 6 am to 6 pm (Paid lunch break)

For those interested in 2nd shift, please understand that we would need you to train on 1st shift for approximately a month before going on 2nd shift.

Pay:

$16.00 Hourly

Job Duties:

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
• Completes all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Lead or Production Supervisor.
• Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.

Requirements:

• Be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures and prints written in English.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.
