Candidates should have 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong soldering and wiring skills, ability to read diagrams, and familiarity with calipers, multimeters, and oscilloscopes. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with hourly pay between $18 and $23.

Electrical/Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Elwood has an opportunity for an individual with electrical and light mechanical assembly experience. Candidates are expected to manufacture servo and stepper motor assemblies and utilize electronic equipment to test finished products.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Strong electrical assembly skills including soldering, crimping, wire splicing, cable, and wiring harness assembly is a must.
• Ability to interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and follow work instructions.
• Perform operations using crimping tools, wire stripping machines, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Must be able to perform various light mechanical assembly processes.
• Utilize mechanical and electrical measuring instruments to ensure product conformity.
• Ensures tools are clean, maintained, and calibrated.
• Notifies manager if parts do not meet specifications.
• Maintains clean, organized work environment and adheres to all safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner.
• Required: High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-4 years of experience in relevant role

• Familiarity with electric motor concepts is a plus

Job Type/Compensation
