Job summary

RPI Inc. in Racine, WI, is seeking a full-time manufacturing assembler. You will monitor equipment, assemble per engineering drawings, and perform pre-assembly cleaning and lubrication per established procedures.

Work in a team setting with opportunities to learn wiring, cabling, and mechanical assembly while keeping a clean, safe work area. Overtime is rare but required, with 1.5x overtime pay beyond 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and report issues to supervision.
• Assemble according to engineering drawings.
• Perform pre-assembly cleaning and lubrication per procedures.
• Conduct final checks and adjustments for defects.
• Install, repair, inspect, reassemble, replace, refit, and adjust products as required.
• Receive, unload and transfer materials to different work stations.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.
• Overtime is rare but required when needed.

Job Description

This will be conducted in a team environment and as an independent operation. You will monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the supervisor. All of the equipment assembly must be done according to engineering drawings. You will conduct all pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating as per established procedures. Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure the highest quality products. Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing, refitting, and adjusting products as required. Receive, unload, unpack and transfer materials to different work stations. Work proactively to prevent breakdowns and failures. Maintain your work area, keeping it clean, safe and orderly. Overtime is rare but required as needed.
