Knight Electric, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Agent to support procurement operations across our electrical construction projects in the United States.

The role involves ordering, expediting, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective materials on active jobs. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and solid knowledge of electrical materials and construction supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Source and place purchase orders for electrical materials, equipment, and supplies to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Obtain and analyze competitive quotes for material requisitions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and coordinate deliveries.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships for reliable, cost-effective sourcing.
• Track order status and expediting shipments to avoid delays.
