Job summary

Electri-Cord Manufacturing Co. in Westfield, PA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to provide technical support for manufacturing equipment, electrical systems and test gear.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, developing and improving manufacturing methods, documenting processes, and implementing engineering solutions. You will work with engineering and production teams, assist with NPI activities, create first-piece drawings and pilot-run documentation, and help ensure readiness

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of experience as a technician or maintenance team member.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and tech specs.
• Working knowledge of electrical components, sensors, relays, switches, motors, and power supplies.
• Basic understanding of PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to use electrical and mechanical measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production equipment and electrical/control issues.
• Support optimization and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods.
• Assist with test equipment setup, troubleshooting and improvement.
• Create, update, and maintain production methods, routings, and docs in ERP/MRP systems.
• Participate in NPI activities: first builds, process validation, and readiness reviews.
• Provide daily technical support to Engineering and Production.
