Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Williamsport to troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic control systems, with responsibility for circuit design and project management. The role requires 5+ years in maintenance or wire and cable environments and strong teamwork and safety focus.

Candidates should have an associate degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology or related credentials, and be comfortable with PLCs, test equipment, and documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a maintenance role (or wire & cable experience) in manufacturing.
• Technical degrees are a plus when supported by relevant experience.
• Results-driven in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 operation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic control devices and systems and perform timely repairs.
• Design new circuitry or modify existing circuitry as needed.
• Manage selected maintenance projects for internal customers.
• Use schematics, vendor data, and test equipment to maximize uptime.
• Document all work and maintain up-to-date software backups.
• Lead teamwork within the electrical group and support safety initiatives.
