Job summary
IT Resource Hunter is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing processes for semiconductor metrology capital equipment in Fremont, CA. The role focuses on manufacturability, product performance, and NPI/CIP initiatives within cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in manufacturing engineering for semiconductor/metrology or high vacuum systems, with Altium and strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Must have 3+ years manufacturing engineering experience in semiconductor metrology or ion/electron beam systems.
- Candidate should be able to support supply chain and electronics assemblies.
- Experience with Altium and CE EMC/CE Machinery compliance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time technical support to manufacturing, resolve assembly, integration and final test issues.
- Lead in decisions regarding business and technical aspects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontract manufacturers to qualify suppliers and review test results.
- Develop fixtures and processes for testing electronics High Voltage systems; implement manufacturability changes.
- Define power distribution and cabling standards to regulatory requirements.
- Own documentation quality: BOM accuracy, drawings, WI; drive ECR/ECO implementations.
