Job summary

The Weir Group in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician - Electrical on-site for 1st shift. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain production equipment including 480VAC electricals, PLCs, sensors, and VFDs within a union environment.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and safety while documenting activities in SAP CMMS. Required are strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, and

Qualifications

Proven production maintenance experience with strong mechanical skills and electrical troubleshooting capability.
Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs including troubleshooting, code edits, and sensor maintenance.
Proficient with SAP CMMS and basic Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair production and ancillary equipment including electrical (480VAC), pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on conveyors, lighting, motors, pumps, and VFDs; install new electricals as needed.
Troubleshoot PLCs and perform sensor adjustments; participate in Lean and Kaizen improvements.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, and vendors to ensure timely repairs and parts.
Document maintenance activities and equipment history in SAP CMMS; uphold safety standards.
