Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking an Electrician to perform maintenance and repair to keep electrical equipment and tools in good operating condition. The role involves troubleshooting, installing and adjusting controllers, PLCs, and related instruments in diverse settings.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and about 2 years of electrical/handyman experience, with a focus on safe tool usage and effective communication in English.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years electrical/handyman experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to safely use common power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on electrical equipment and machinery.
• Designs, installs, troubleshoots and programs PLCs and related controllers and instruments.
• Identify faulty materials or abnormal conditions and report to supervision.
• Assist with shared inbox management and other duties as assigned.
