IE Tech in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking an experienced technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation, automation, and mechanical systems in our plant.
You will diagnose issues with PLCs, DCS, motor controls, MCCs, VFDs, and process equipment using prints, schematics, and handheld test tools; support PLC programming and control upgrades; and keep maintenance, calibration, and spare parts records up to date, with on-call rotating shifts.
The IE Tech installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs the plant's electrical, instrumentation, automation, and mechanical systems. This role calls for someone who is equally comfortable with modern PLC and DCS systems and with old-school, hands‑on troubleshooting — using prints, a meter, and good electrical logic to find problems when the computer can't.
Multimeters, megohmmeters, amp probes, calibration equipment, hand and power tools, and PLC programming software.
