Job summary

Gem Care, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in the Surgoinsville/Rogersville, TN area. The role focuses on electrical controls, PLCs, robotics, and maintaining and repairing industrial equipment to minimize downtime.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot electrical systems, read blueprints and drawings, and have 1–2 years of experience with Industrial Control Systems. A HS diploma or GED is required, with certificates or degrees viewed as a strong plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Industrial Electrical or Maintenance certificate is highly preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is a huge plus.
• Strong background in electrical controls (PLC's).
• Experience with Robotics.
• 1-2 years of experience working with Industrial Control Systems.

ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - 2nd Shift

We have an immediate Direct Hire opportunity for an Electrical Controls Technician in the Surgoinsville/Rogersville, TN area. This is a 2nd Shift position with one of the top manufacturing companies in East Tennessee. Starting pay range is $24.00 to $27.00 per hour (depending on experience, education, and training).

Job Description:

Electrical Controls Technician responsible for electrical, controls (PLC & Robotics), equipment, and machinery, diagnosis and repair. Successful candidates must have a thorough understanding of industrial electrical systems, PLC's, Robotics, and High Voltage equipment. Must be able to troubleshoot factory equipment and machinery to diagnose issues and make necessary repairs. Must be able to work from blueprints, drawings, and instructions.

Education, Skills & Training:
