Job summary

Gem Care, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in the Surgoinsville/Rogersville, TN area. The role focuses on electrical controls, PLCs, robotics, and maintaining and repairing industrial equipment to minimize downtime.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot electrical systems, read blueprints and drawings, and have 1–2 years of experience with Industrial Control Systems. A HS diploma or GED is required, with certificates or degrees viewed as a strong plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Industrial Electrical or Maintenance certificate is highly preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is a huge plus.
• Strong background in electrical controls (PLC's).
• Experience with Robotics.
• 1-2 years of experience working with Industrial Control Systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical controls, PLCs, robotics, and related equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot factory equipment and machinery to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
• Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and instructions.
