Randstad USA is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a strong automation background to maintain, diagnose, and repair automated manufacturing equipment. The role emphasizes reliability, uptime, and continuous production support in a team-driven, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing PLC/HMI faults, performing preventive maintenance, and implementing corrective actions, with Siemens TIA Portal experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong background in industrial automation and PLC troubleshooting.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, PLC, HMI, and control system faults on automated production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot industrial machinery using electrical schematics, ladder logic, and diagnostic software.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to improve equipment reliability.
  • Support production by responding to equipment failures and restoring operations in a timely manner.
  • Program modifications, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of PLC-controlled equipment, with emphasis on Siemens platforms (TIA Portal experience preferred).
  • Inspect, test, and replace motors, drives, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, and other control components.
  • Read and interpret electrical prints, wiring diagrams, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
  • Install, wire, and commission new equipment, machine upgrades, and production line improvements.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring equipment failures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and parts usage within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Coordinate with operations, engineering, and contractors during equipment installations and improvement projects.

DIRECT-HIRE! Electromechanical Maintenance Technicians Pay Range: $38.00 – $48.00 / hour (Top-end reserved for PLC & CNC experts) Shift Schedules: 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM OR 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) Relocation assistance availableif qualified. We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a strong background in industrial automation and PLC troubleshooting. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing automated manufacturing equipment to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support continuous production operations. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex electrical and controls issues while working in a team-oriented, safety-driven environment.

salary: $79,040 - $99,839.99 per year shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 6 PM education: High School
