King & George, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for work at the Fort Huachuca Army Base. The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and systems, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure safe operations.

You will work with minimal supervision, applying knowledge of electrical theory to diagnose and repair complex problems while complying with all codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills may be required.
• Must pass a federal background screening and drug test.
• Licenses: Arizona state licenses if required.

Responsabilités

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Test electrical systems and components using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure proper functioning.
• Isolate defective circuits and replace fuses or reset circuit breakers.
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits according to specifications using hand tools or power tools.
• Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools or power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Plan layout of projects.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects.
