Job summary

ALPLA Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and optimize packaging equipment at our Salt Lake City site. You will participate in predictive maintenance, diagnose issues, and collaborate with facilities teams to ensure a safe, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Industrial maintenance safety knowledge required.
• Basic mechanical understanding and repair capability expected.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics recommended.
• Occupational math skills for measurements essential.
• Problem-solving and teamwork abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Equipment installation and preventative maintenance: set up ALPLA equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Predicitive maintenance: use condition monitoring and diagnostics to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshooting and repairs: diagnose issues and restore equipment promptly.
• Facility maintenance support: assist in general upkeep and safety.
• Performance metrics: track repair timeliness and data input accuracy.
