Job summary

ALPLA in Utah is hiring a Maintenance Technician to install and maintain packaging equipment, and perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime. You will troubleshoot molding machines and work with the facilities team to sustain a safe, efficient production environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and safety standards. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Min High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance Safety.
• Basic mechanical understanding and repair capability.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of occupational math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Problem‑solving and team collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Equipment installation and preventative maintenance: set up ALPLA equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Performs predictive maintenance using condition monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshooting and repairs: diagnose problems in molding machines and restore functionality.
• Facility Maintenance Support: assist in maintaining safe, organized production spaces.
• Performance Metrics: participate in MP2 data input and review Power BI reports.
