Job summary

Foxconn is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in manufacturing equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will use precision instruments, read schematics, and follow safety standards to ensure safe, efficient operations and regulatory compliance on site in the Houston area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience; degree not required.

Responsibilities

• Use precision instruments to ensure components meet specifications.
• Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
• Test, diagnose and repair electrical issues on industrial equipment, including motors, control panels, sensors, relays, and wiring.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient daily operation.
• Install and maintain electrical components of manufacturing machinery.
• Utilize testing devices to locate electrical malfunctions.
• Analyze, review and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Participate and coordinate with maintenance personnel and production teams to support failure analysis and routine equipment upgrades.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Maintain detailed logs and tracking systems for maintenance of activities and records.
