As a member of the Maintenance Department, the Electrical Maintenance Technician II safely performs preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical and mechanical equipment. This position troubleshoots equipment failures, completes repairs, and restores machinery to proper operating condition while following company safety policies and JSAs. The role supports reliable plant operations and continuous improvement through strong technical knowledge and practical experience.
Must possess strong mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge, with demonstrated experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery, motors, pumps, compressors, control panels, electrical systems, single- and three-phase circuits, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
A degree or technical certification in a maintenance-related field, such as electrical or mechanical technology, is required, along with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
Preferred certifications not all needed include, but are not limited to, the following: Mechanical or industrial maintenance trade school certification, Electrical certification, Programmable logic controller (PLC) certification, Candidates must also successfully complete a skills assessment evaluating their mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge and abilities. Experience troubleshooting automation equipment and knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) are preferred.
