Job summary

Altman Specialty Plants is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Grainville, IL. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and repairs for greenhouse, warehouse, and office facilities, ensuring efficient daily operations of greenhouse systems.

Collaborate with Growing staff and Operations Manager, and be prepared for night or weekend shifts as needed. Requires strong electrical skills and training in OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong electrical skillset.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, repairs and replacements from 24V to 480V.
• Experience with 240V/480V lighting systems and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machines, building and greenhouse systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems using testing equipment.
• Install and route wiring through conduit systems per safety standards.
• Ensure equipment and greenhouse systems operate properly and are updated.
• Coordinate with management and staff to complete tasks on schedule.
