Job summary

Dan and Jerry's Greenhouses in Harrisonville, MO seeks an experienced maintenance technician responsible for electrical maintenance and overall facilities upkeep. You will lead safety efforts and ensure reliable operation of electrical systems across the greenhouse complex.

Requirements include 2+ years in a similar role, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. Journeyman license preferred. On-site position with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in a similar role; 3-5 years electrical experience/trade school combined.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman license preferred.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance: Ensure the smooth running of the building's electrical system and promptly resolve issues.
• Inspect electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and other appliances.
• Install feeders, panels, branch circuits, and motor controls.
• Map, record systems and create maintain designs of the facilities electrical infrastructure.
• Identify faults or hazards.
• Troubleshoot system failures.
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Review blueprints to understand wiring placing.
• Provide suggestions for equipment replacement.
• Greenhouse Facilities and Systems Maintenance and Construction: Maintaining and repairing all systems including inflation, electrical, generators, boilers and production equipment.
• Assist in repairing and installing new systems and greenhouses.
• Safely use tools and equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
• Assist with and/or perform additional duties as required by operating needs of the company.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Journeyman license preferred
