Dan and Jerry’s Greenhouses in Harrisonville, MO is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician responsible for the facilities electrical systems and general upkeep of operating infrastructure.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar role, a high school diploma, and Journeyman license preferred; you will read blueprints, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safety compliance to support continuous greenhouse operations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and troubleshoot the building's electrical system, wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
• Install feeders, panels, branch circuits, and motor controls.
• Map and record systems, and maintain designs of the electrical infrastructure.
• Identify faults or hazards and perform preventative maintenance.
• Review blueprints to understand wiring placement and assist with system upgrades.
• Support construction and repair of greenhouse systems and equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for duties associated with the facilities electrical maintenance as well as general upkeep and maintenance of the operational systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (comprehensive, but not limited to)

Electrical Maintenance

• Ensure the smooth running of the building's electrical system and promptly resolve issues that arise.
• Inspect electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and other appliances.
• Install feeders, panels, branch circuits, and motor controls.
• Map, record systems and create & maintain designs of the facilities electrical infrastructure.
• Identify faults or hazards.
• Troubleshoot system failures.
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Review blueprints to understand wiring placing.
• Provide suggestions for equipment replacement.

Greenhouse Facilities and Systems Maintenance and Construction

• Maintaining and repairing all systems including inflation, electrical, generators, boilers and production equipment.
• Assist in repairing and installing new systems and greenhouses.
• Safely use tools and equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
• Assist with and/or perform additional duties as required by operating needs of the company as directed by management.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• 2 or more years of experience in a similar role. 3-5 years electrical experience/trade school combined
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman license preferred
• Must be able to legally work in the United States and have a valid driver’s license.
