Job summary

MCC in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Electrician to ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are current, troubleshoot during downtime, and perform preventive maintenance. The role requires multi-disciplinary troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems in a production environment.

You will support Lean Manufacturing and 5S while maintaining and repairing the facility, with duties including special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Ability to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training certificate preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assess product output to specifications.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform required movements.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to optimize production.
• Maintains and repairs the facility.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education

Vocational maintenance training certificate preferred
