Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing equipment.

You will support production by performing preventive maintenance, reading schematics, welding and fabrication as needed, and applying strong problem-solving skills. Overtime and shift flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment with CNC machines and mechanical presses.
• Strong electrical and mechanical problem-solving ability.
• Experience welding, sheet metal fabrication and pipe fitting.
• Ability to read hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic blueprints.
• Good oral and written communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations for maintenance of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment using electrical hand tools and measuring devices.
• Read drawings and schematics; perform preventive, predictive and routine maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment by following procedures and rules.
