Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Detroit, MI, seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components on manufacturing equipment.

You will read drawings and schematics, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and maintain a safe, clean work environment while supporting production operations. Strong problem solving, communication, and overtime flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in production environments with CNC machines and mechanical presses preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical analytical problem-solving ability.
• Experience welding, sheet metal fabrication and pipe fitting.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong oral and written communication and basic computer skills.
• Shift flexibility and willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations for maintenance including hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems; select materials and operate equipment.
• Troubleshoots and maintains plant equipment using sound techniques and repair methods.
• Work from drawings, specifications and schematics.
• Perform preventive, predictive and routine inspections.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
