Job summary
Wanzl in Newton, NC seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical and automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with industrial controls, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, welding equipment, and electrical distribution systems, applying strong problem-solving and safety practices daily.

Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma or GED; technical training encouraged.
- Five+ years in industrial electrical maintenance preferred.
- Experience with robotics, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, and automation devices.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control systems on manufacturing equipment.
- Install and maintain industrial robots and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair welders and control systems.
- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit drawings.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
