Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including power distribution, control panels, sensors, relays, contractors, and motor controls.
• Identify root causes of electrical failures and recommend corrective actions.

We are seeking a skilled industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. You should be able to interpret blueprints and schematics, use a variety of tools and diagnostic devices, and have a keen understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Our ideal candidate has a solid understanding of industrial machinery and its safe operation. This position requires a mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled electrical/electronic equipment installation and the repair and replacement of plant equipment.

Requirements

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including power distribution, control panels sensors, relays, contractors, and motor controls.
• Identify root causes of electrical failures and recommend corrective actions
• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs
• Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
