Exploreelginarea is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician in Hampshire, IL to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial production equipment in a manufacturing setting.

This full-time role emphasizes equipment reliability to support safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with PLCs, motors, instrumentation, and ladder logic skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits, PLCs, motors, instrumentation, and ladder logic.
• Knowledge of mechanical drives, motor alignment, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, and precision measurement tools.
• Ability to use testing equipment and read technical documentation in English; must supply own tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret machine manuals, electrical schematics, blueprints, and process control diagrams.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC motors, PLC controllers, and 3-phase power control circuits.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment improvements to support production goals and product quality.
• Follow and enforce all safety regulations, including NFPA 70E standards, and assist with JSA reviews and updates.
