Electrical Maintenance Technician - 1st shift

Job Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot, install, and repair all aspects of Automatic, Robotic, and CNC machinery.
2. Maintain and repair Automated Paint Lines, Setting Presses, Automated Welders, CNC Grinders, Robots, and other complex machinery.
3. Support equipment and machinery, including PLC programming, HMI and servo controller programming.
4. Operate Fanuc and Denso Robots, including jogging and resetting.
5. Teach and touch up robot positions for material handling.
6. Plan and install controls, diagnose electrical/electronic issues, replace parts, test units, and make adjustments.
7. Prepare wiring diagrams for changes.
8. Perform mechanical repairs as needed, regardless of pay grade.
9. Support continuous improvement activities.
10. Document work in SAP system.
11. Perform other duties as necessary to support production.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience with Control Systems, PLCs, CNC Controls, Robots, PCs, and HMIs in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read prints, schematics, and documentation for equipment installation, modification, and repair.
• Knowledge of machine communications and LAN components.
• Competency in working safely with electrical control panels up to 480 volts.
• Qualified to work in electrical panels with proper safety procedures and PPE, verified by a practical demonstration.
• Strong computer, problem-solving, interpersonal, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Robot operation and teaching certification (preferred).
