Maintenance Technician

Location: Newton, NC (On-site)

Schedule: 2nd Shift | 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM, Monday – Friday

Pay: $24/hr + $1.00 shift differential (up to $30/hr dependant on experience)

The Opportunity

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to join the 2nd shift maintenance team. This position plays a critical role in supporting production through preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of manufacturing machinery, with a focus on injection molding equipment.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with solid mechanical and electrical skills looking to advance in a stable and technically challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems (240V–480V)
• Troubleshoot and support PLC and automation systems
• Maintain injection molding equipment, including robotics and vision systems
• Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics
• Work from production work orders and support urgent repair needs as they arise

Your Profile

• Associate’s degree in Mechanical Science or equivalent hands-on experience
• 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Background in PLC troubleshooting, automation, and robotics
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens equipment highly preferred
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical circuits, and vision systems
• Ability to read prints, schematics, and metric measurements
