Join to apply for the Electrical Maintenance Technician role at United Industries, Inc.

We are hiring for both First and Second Shift Positions (Shift Premium for 2nd).

Summary

We are looking for an addition to our Maintenance Team with a background in electronics troubleshooting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Installation, setup, programming, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, instruments, controls, and related equipment.
  • Demonstrate advanced electrical troubleshooting skills, a thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code, and the ability to install and maintain electrical systems.
  • Work from sketches, manuals, designs, specifications, and verbal instructions.
  • Stay updated on new developments through study and training.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety regulations.
  • Assist other maintenance personnel and participate in training as needed.
Qualifications

To perform successfully, an individual must meet the following requirements:

Education and Experience

Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.

Mathematical and Computer Skills

Ability to work with probability, statistics, geometry, trigonometry, and apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Knowledge of computer operation and software.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, analyze data, interpret technical instructions, and handle multiple variables.

Certificates and Licenses

Forklift operation license (OSHA compliant) and training in the National Electric Code.

Physical Demands

Must regularly lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs with equipment. Frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, and talking. Occasional sitting, climbing, stooping, and visual acuity requirements.

Work Environment

Exposure to mechanical parts, electrical shocks, loud noise, chemicals, heat, and vibration. Proper safety equipment must be used at all times.
